Let me say excellent professional looking shots are simple with this camera, & I highly recommend Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP CMOS to someone thinking of buying an SLR camera. I like the 18-135mm lens, as I am usually taking pics of my spouse & kid with it, seems as if I don't require any other lens. Possibly a nifty 50 & a separate flash for simple bounce/diffused shots. No regrets on spending the premium for the lens or the latest model! Woohoo, new hobby! I am a Nikon owner for years now trying to switch to Canon. After receiving this camera for a few days, I can now give a list of the differences between this T3i & the Nikon counterpart D5100.
